|Spain, which is endowed with natural beauty, is a beautiful country and its nature is not easily found in other parts of the world. This natural beauty is one of the reasons that many tourists visit the country so as to be able to experience it on their own. Spain is surrounded by both the Atlantic as well as the Mediterranean Sea where the two major islands namely the canary and the Balearic are located. The Canary Islands and the Balearic islands are on the Atlantic sea and on the Mediterranean Sea respectively.
These major islands are also composed of smaller islands within themselves, such as the Gran Canaria, Tenerife, La Palma, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, La Gomera, and El Hierro among others which make up the Canary Islands. On the other hand, the Balearic Islands are composed of the Majorca, Minorca, Formentera, Cabrera, and Tremac among other small islands as well.
The Canary Islands is one of the most famous destinations for most tourists especially because of its beaches and magnificent weather. It also has natural attractions such as national parks that can be found in the islands that make up the Canary Islands. The islands that form the Canary Islands have different landscapes from each other making their exploration something that can enhance the experience on the islands. Lastly, these islands also have fair weather all year around which means that you can visit during the seasons that are not favorable in your home country.
The Balearic Islands which lie on the Mediterranean Sea were originally a trading area for the Phoenicians but were taken over by Romans and later turned into a large trading port. The remains of these ancient civilizations can be seen on the islands. The major attraction on these islands is that they blend both nightlife as well as a relaxed beach life and this is also enhanced by the natural beauty as well as the unspoiled beaches that are found on these islands.
Some of the islands that bring out this blend on the Balearic Islands include the Ibiza Island which is one of the most famous party destinations and has some of the largest techno clubs that cater for all the visitors who want to experience an unmatched nightlife in Spain. On the other hand, is the Minorca Island which is known for its long stretch of beaches that offer tranquility to any tourists visiting the islands.
