During my trip in Vietnam, I decided to rent a car with an aim to create my own trip as much independently, conveniently and flexibly as possible. After having shopped around, I found that the cost of car rental was rather high. Luckily, it crossed my mind that the service provider which I used to apply visa EvivaTour Vietnam also offers this logistic service and then I contacted with them to get their sound advices. I think that I should share these tips here

1.Pay much attention to the quality of the car you rent: As you known, the car for rent was used many times by not their owners and almost of them considered that "it is not my possession, so I do not need to take care it much". The sales executive of helped me erase this thinking; they advised me to double check the car conditions to avoid any unexpected problems. It is really a reasonable advice.
2.Pay much attention to the traffic jams in Vietnam: The sales executive of Eviva Tour Vietnam also reminded me about the complicatedness of traffic in Vietnam. Therefore, to drive a car on your own in Vietnam, you should be at best of carefulness. You should prepare your mind to face with the hooter from motorbikes and cars on the streets. For me, these noises made me stressful and then I decided to hire a local driver from the agency mentioned above. It was truly a wise decision as Mr Tung – the driver is professional with locations and experiences.
3.Cost for car rental: As I said above the car rental in Vietnam is rather high. You should consider much about the type of car and how luxurious it is. Also you are responsible to pay the fuel which is rather high compared to other countries in the same areas. Hope that with these information, renting car now will be much easier for you. Source:
